Over the third week of January, Calyos had the opportunity to join the NATO DIANA community in Athens, together with an impressive group of innovators pushing the boundaries of defence and dual‑use technologies.
This program helps us accelerating our mission: developing advanced passive two‑phase cooling solutions for mission‑critical defence applications, where reliability is non‑negotiable and failure is not an option.
With a strong heritage in space‑grade thermal technologies, we are committed to reduce failure of the next generation mission critical equipment for ground applications including ruggedized servers, command & control systems and tactical energy systems.
During our time in Athens, we connected with fellow innovators, mentors, and partners across the ecosystem — from sessions at the Athens War Museum to in‑depth exchanges at the NCSR “Demokritos” campus. These interactions are helping us lay the groundwork for future collaboration within the NATO DIANA framework.
A big thank‑you to the organisers and to the entire cohort for the warm welcome and the valuable discussions. We look forward to continuing this journey and contributing to resilient, energy‑efficient technologies for defence missions.

What We Do
We engineer advanced cooling technologies, including loop heat pipes, micro-channel heat pipes, and pulsating heat pipes, to optimize thermal performance across a variety of applications. Typically these include: power electronics, processors, and batteries, but we don't stop there we are continuing to develop and produce fully customizable solutions for other specific needs, for example e-motors and fuel cells.

Calyos is headquartered in Charleroi, Belgium, where our engineering and production teams work side by side in a state-of-the-art facility. From this base, we serve a global clientele, providing our cutting-edge solutions across North America, Asia, Europe, and South America.
When We Started
Calyos was incorporated in 2014 as a spin-off from Euro Heat Pipes (EHP), which was established in 2001 and has become a major player in the European satellite market. Since then, Calyos has been adapting and evolving EHP's space-grade cooling technologies for terrestrial applications.
